Mendenhall and was baptized into the Adventist Faith in 1978. He served faithfully in the First Covington SDA Church and First Lithonia SDA Church in various offices and leadership positions where he first began to realize God’s call to pastoral ministry.

Pastor Boswell attended DeKalb Community College and Georgia State University. He continued his educational pursuits by attending Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas where he graduated with a BS degree in Psychology and Religion in 1998. He further pursued graduate studies at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee and completed his Masters of Religious Studies Degree in December of 2009.

Following years of preparation, In November 1999, Elder Boswell accepted the call to ministry by the South Atlantic Conference to pastor the Ephesus SDA Church in Gastonia NC and the New Life SDA Church in Rock Hill, South Carolina district where he served for four years. The work of the Lord has always been first and foremost in his heart. He has conducted evangelistic meeting in every district he has pastored and many souls have been won for the kingdom of God. He strongly believes in training and equipping every member to fulfill their God given mandate as soul winners for the Master. He has adopted the idea that the methodology of Christ in reaching the people is the only one that really works; therefore, he focuses his ministry on Church Nurturing, Community Services, and Evangelism.

Pastor Boswell has been married to the former Patricia Cullins, also of Covington Ga. for 39 years. They have two adult daughters, Tiffany, who lives McDonough Ga, and his late daughter Lauren who passed away last May at the precious age of 36.

Pastor Boswell believes his life is a “living testimony” of the power of God to use ordinary people in extraordinary ways when they truly devote themselves to Him and His mission.
